The sustainably harvested finish ply adds strength and return, while creating a one-of-a-kind look thatís only possible with koa. Koa, or "warrior" wood, is prized for its rich colors and unique grain patterns. It was first used 1,000 years ago by the native Hawaiians to build the original surfboards.
