Loaded PintailLoaded Pintail Longboard Complete
You will stop sleeping. Sorry, but it's true. Versatile, light and fluid, this board is designed to promote an assertive, dynamic riding style. It'll hold it's own on hills, banks, commuting, and beer runs. But if you're anything like us, it's all about the late night parking garage sessions. Glassy eyes and a permanent grin.

- Bones Super Swiss Bearings
SPECS:
Length: 35.5"/ 90cm
Width: 8.75" / 22cm
Wheelbase: 29" / 74cm
Weight: Complete: 6 - 6.3lbs / 2.7 - 2.85kg
CONSTRUCTION: Epoxy and Tri-axle fiberglass sandwich a vert-lam Bamboo core, pressed into concave and convex cambers for liveliness, responsiveness and high energy potential.
- Asymmetrical Shape.
- Increased torsional stiffness for higher energy return.
- Tapered ends and wheel cutout to eliminate wheel bite.
FLEX: Currently available in four flexes:
FLEX1: 200-280+lbs / 90-125+kg
FLEX2: 190-250+lbs / 85-115+kg
FLEX3: 140-220+lbs / 65-100+kg
FLEX4: 110-190+lbs / 50-85+kg
Remember that a softer flex pattern will give you more control and tighter turns at slower speeds, however it’s more prone to lose stability at higher speeds. If you plan on doing a lot of hard pounding tricks: shovits, bonelesses, etc, a stiff flex will hold up better. Note: It is natural for the boards to break in and become slightly flexier over time.
SETUP:
Trucks:150mm Paris and 150mm Randal R-II trucks are recommended. The Paris are quicker turning than the Randals. Stability is maintained by shifting the axles in towards the center of the deck which shortens the wheelbase by 0.5". The Paris therefore feel about half a flex stiffer than the same board with Randals.
Wheels: 65-77mm outer or offset wheel, including the 70mm Orangatang 4Presidents are great wheels but don't be afraid to explore other options.
Bearings:There are many great bearings and we recommend the Bones Super Swiss and Bones Swiss Bearings.
Additional Set-up: Play around with kingpin tightness to adjust the looseness of the trucks. There are a lot of new bushings coming to market and they can make a huge difference in the ride. Go out and experiment.
Riding Tips: Learn to footbreak and slide. It's the safest way to slow down at speed and will increase your skills. |
