In 2000, Unlimited Fix was brought to life with the creation of t-shirts that were sold in board shops throughout Southern California. The end of the epic winter swell in 2004 was followed by weeks of flat, blown-out conditions forced riders to get their fix in a different place. uFix's first boards were designed and built in a garage with cheap plywood from Home Depot and a tiny jigsaw. Although they never intended to sell these boards, they quickly attracted the attention of surfers in the South Bay area.
